Pipeline Awareness and Education Program

Pipeline Awareness and Education Program

Overview

The Pipeline Awareness and Education Program consists of both Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) classes as well as Coordinated Response Exercise (CoRE) classes. These are brought to you through a partnership between MU Fire and Rescue Training Institute (MU FRTI) and the Pipeline Association of Missouri (PAM).

Emergency and Public Official Pipeline Safety HSEEP Program

This workshop and facilitated tabletop exercise lasts approximately two hours. It is intended to increase the overall preparedness of both pipeline companies and local governments, assist in validating their existing emergency plans, and present the opportunity to identify both strengths and opportunities for improvement in their existing emergency response systems. Participants will complete an HSEEP designed table top exercise and hotwash, as well as learn about applicable Homeland Security grants.
