Curriculum Position Announcement
The University of Missouri Fire and Rescue Training Institute (MU FRTI) is currently seeking interested candidates for a Curriculum Specialist position (Senior Educational Program Coordinator) with the Institute. The Curriculum Specialist for MU FRTI is responsible for the development and review of curriculum for instructional programs within the Institute as it relates to national, state and local standards. The person filling this position will develop technical training curriculums and instructional support materials for fire and emergency services training that include cognitive and manipulative skills acquisition by the student. Courses produced will meet all necessary standards for course certifications by national and state authorities related to fire and emergency service professional qualifications. Design training/educational programs that are both technically sound and operationally feasible within the parameters of the Institute.
MU FRTI is an Institute within MU Extension's Continuing Education programs, and provides training throughout Missouri and nationally, to volunteer and career firefighters, fire specialists, fire officers, members of industrial fire brigades, and members of allied emergency services organizations.
