Kyle Smith Honored for His Service with MU FRTI

University of Missouri Extension Fire and Rescue Training Institute’s (MU FRTI) Instructional Support Associate, Kyle Smith, will be leaving the Institute. He and his wife Anita have been offered job positions at a hospital in Florida. Kyle’s last day with MU FRTI is March 27, 2015.

Kyle has been with MU FRTI since 1999, and has been an integral part of the day to day operations of the Institute. His coordination and handling of course materials for classes and his management of the Institute’s vehicle and trailer fleet have helped assure the consistent delivery of training throughout Missouri.  MU FRTI Director David Hedrick praised Kyle for his dedication and said: “we will miss him as a valued member of the MU FRTI Team.

Associate Smith was presented a plaque and certificate of appreciation for his service to Extension and MU FRTI during a reception in his honor on March 20, 2015, by Director Hedrick and his supervisor Field Extension Specialist Gail Hagans-Reynolds.
