Fire Service Leadership Enhancement Program

The University of Missouri Fire and Rescue Training Institute (MU FRTI) and the Truman School of Public Affairs graduated 24 Fire Service Officers from throughout Missouri in a ceremony honoring their completion of the 13th Annual Fire Service Leadership Enhancement Program (FSLEP) on March 19, 2015. During a graduation ceremony, held at the University of Missouri Alumni Center in Columbia, MO, graduates were praised for their commitment to improving the professional leadership capabilities of Missouri’s Fire Service. The FSLEP program is a joint activity conducted by the Harry S. Truman School of Public Affairs and MU FRTI, and provides executive leadership training for current and future Chief Fire Officers.
