Policies and Guidelines

The University of Missouri Fire and Rescue Training Institute follows these established guidelines for protecting the legal rights of our students, faculty and staff as well as members of the public who associate with MU FRTI.

 

Accessibility and ADA Compliance

If you have special needs as addressed by the Americans with Disabilities Act, please contact the MU Fire and Rescue Training Institute at 800-869-3476 immediately. Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your needs. To request academic accommodations (for example, a note taker), students must register with Disability Services, at S5 Memorial Union, 573-882-4696. This office is responsible for reviewing documentation provided by students requesting academic accommodations, and for accommodations planning in cooperation with students and instructors, as needed and consistent with course requirements. The MU Adaptive Computing Technology Center, 573-884-2828, is also available to provide computing assistance to students with disabilities.
