Continuing Education Unit (CEU)

This workshop provides participants the information needed to identify a confined space rescue situation and will be helpful to anyone that is new to this type of technical rescue. Topics will include: safety, risk assessment, metering, and equipment selection. Participants that have taken the technician level course will also benefit with this updated information. Included in class are explanations of the changes involving the National Fire Protection Association and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards. Attendees will come away with response ideas from instructors who have responded to real world incidents.
