Continuing Education Unit (CEU)
- This course curriculum is developed and maintained by the National Fire Academy and is delivered in compliance with the standards of the National Fire Academy off-campus program. Courses are registered and approved through the Missouri Division of Fire Safety as the NFA State Training Partner. Upon successful completion of this course participants will receive a National Fire Academy certificate of completion.
U.S. National Fire Academy (NFA)
This course is designed for organizations who wish to enhance their public education and prevention efforts. Participants of this program will be able to determine if public education is valued in their organizations and their communities. Course content emphasizes three simple methods for establishing “roots” in public fire and life safety education: personal commitment to public education; determining and improving the organization’s role in public education; and enhancing programs through greater community support. Throughout the course participants will outline ideas and plans which they would like to apply in their organizations.
