  • In the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 1 semester hour in business administration, fire science, public administration, criminal justice, or emergency medical services (7/14).

American Council on Education (ACE)
  • This course curriculum is developed and maintained by the National Fire Academy and is delivered in compliance with the standards of the National Fire Academy off-campus program. Courses are registered and approved through the Missouri Division of Fire Safety as the NFA State Training Partner. Upon successful completion of this course participants will receive a National Fire Academy certificate of completion.

U.S. National Fire Academy (NFA)

Designed to meet the needs of the company officer, this course provides participants with the basic skills and tools to perform effectively as a leader in the fire service environment. This presentation addresses ethics, use and abuse of power at the company level, creativity in the fire service environment, and managing the multiple roles of the company officer. If you are currently a company officer, or are preparing for the position, this class will help you in that role.
