Technical Rescue
MU FRTI offers a full range of courses in technical rescue. The curriculum within the Technical Rescue division reflects the various chapters of NFPA 1006, Rescue Technician Professional Qualifications, 2003 edition. The Institute currently provides training to meet:
- Confined Space Rescue
- Dive Rescue
- Rope Rescue
- Structural Collapse Rescue
- Surface Water Rescue
- Trench Rescue
- Vehicle/Machinery Rescue
Some of these courses have also been approved by the Office of Domestic Preparedness (ODP). We also can offer specialized rescue courses to private industry settings.
