Mark Lee
Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Specialist

Mark Lee is originally from Philipsburg, MT and joined the Air Force after High School. During his 21 year Fire Protection career in the Air Force, he worked in all positions from Fire Fighter to Fire Chief.
In 1996 he changed careers and has been working with the University of Missouri Fire and Rescue Training Institute. Lee has coordinated Industrial Emergency
Response Training. This includes hazardous materials, confined space rescue, industrial incident management system, fire brigade principles and site specific needs. For
two years, Lee coordinated the operations at the Ameren UE Emergency Response Training Center for industrial, volunteer and full time fire fighters.
His current position is Program Specialist for Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Training.
Lee
is
a
member
of
the Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting Working Group (ARFFWG). He is assiting the
ARFFWG
to review the Federal Aviation Administration Regulations that cover Aircraft
Rescue operations and training. Lee is the primary coordinator for the FAA Central
Region Mobile Aircraft Rescue Trainer. The Mobile Aircraft Rescue Trainer will
support Airport Firefighter training in Kansas, Iowa, Missouri and Nebraska.
He is currently on the National Fire Protection Association Committee for Industrial
Fire Brigade Member Professional Qualifications and has earned a Bachelor of
Science,
Management/Human Resources and an Associate in Applied Science, Fire Science
degrees.
